About the position

We are now looking for hourly substitutes and summer substitutes for our operations for 2026.

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities.

We work in fantastic teams where our task is to fulfill care assignments and create a tailored everyday life filled with care. You will follow the young person in their daily life and be a support and help for them to succeed. Travel to and from leisure activities occurs, which makes it a requirement for us that you have a driver's license and feel comfortable driving a car.

You should act as a good adult role model and be professional and innovative. You follow directives, laws, and regulations. You should be driven by commitment and be unpretentious. Having a good approach is obvious to us, as is the ability to meet each individual based on where they are. We work from a low-arousal approach, which is important for you as an applicant to understand the significance of.

The employee's task is, in addition to ensuring a homelike and safe environment, to plan the young person's life and adapt the approach based on their circumstances. In collaboration with the group manager, health team, and school, the employee develops strategies to collectively meet and reduce various behavioral difficulties in the youth.

You are required to work independently and feel confident in making your own decisions, of course with support from your surroundings. Our youth in HVB live individually in apartments together with staff who work alone throughout the day, but we are also looking for staff for our LSS accommodation located in central Jönköping where several youths live together.

We prefer that you have a relevant post-secondary education tailored for our target group, such as treatment pedagogical, social pedagogical, social work, educational training, or similar. Since our permit applies to children and young people aged 10-23, we prefer that you are 23 years or older. A criminal record extract is required upon potential employment.

For this position, you are required to:

• have a B driver's license

• experience in care and treatment work

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience from a similar role

• have relevant post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogical, social pedagogical, social work, or similar.
